Dessinée par l’architecte du Parlement britannique, cette fontaine s’élevait à Trafalgar Square, à Londres, de 1845 à 1948. En 1955, elle fut installée à Ottawa et nommée en l’honneur du fondateur de
Bytown (Ottawa).

This fountain, designed by the architect of the British Houses of Parliament, stood in Trafalgar Square in London, England, from 1845 to 1948. In 1955, it was installed in Ottawa and named in honour of the founder of Bytown (Ottawa).
