Ce monument hautement symbolique rend hommage aux nombreux Autochtones,hommes et femmes, qui se sont joints aux forces armées canadiennes au fil des ans.Le sculpteur,qui habite la Saskatchewan, a placé un aigle au sommet de sa sculpture pour symboliser le Créateur (connu comme étant l’Oiseau-Tonnerre). Cet aigle incarne les peuples autochtones du Canada.

This richly symbolic monument pays tribute to the contribution of Aboriginal men and women to Canada’s armed forcesover the years.This Saskatchewan sculptor placed the eagle at the highest spot on the sculpture, as it is the symbol of the Creator (known as the Thunderbird), and it embodies the spirit of the Aboriginal peoples of Canada.
