PENNEFATHER, Robert Anthony William - June 13, 1941 - March 26, 2011 Resident of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, passed away peacefully amongst friends and family this past Saturday at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario. After a difficult battle with cancer, he will forever be remembered by his brothers Chuck and Mike, sister Judy, mother of his children Nancy, beloved children and spouses Scott and Jenn, Doug and Dawn, Janet and Josh, cherished grandchildren Jordan, Evan and Audrey, Maddison and Morgan, Ryan and L-3, closest friends Deloss, Dicky, Pat and Wayne alongside countless friends and family whom were blessed to know him.

Bob loved driving, meeting new people everywhere he went, visiting the occasional casino and supporting those needing help in his community. As a retired Air Traffic Controller and member of the US Marine Corps, he touched the lives of many people with his generosity spending countless hours volunteer driving for the Canadian Red Cross and Canadian Cancer Society.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation this Friday, April 1, 2011 at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON, 905-898-2100, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, 432 Ontario Street, Newmarket, ON, 905-898-4137, at 11 a.m. The family requests any donations be sent to the Canadian Cancer Research Society by visiting www.src-crs.ca or calling 1-888-766-2262.
