from Junior's obituary:
frpm Al Yeadon: ... Junior had a reputation as one of the best arrival radar controllers and when the complexity increased Junior calmly keyed his bagpipe tunes on a pencil. Well liked, Junior was a great guy.
from Danny McDonald: ... He was one of the best Arrival controllers, a great co-worker, a kind and gentle person and a true friend I'll always remember fondly. Plus he played a mean bagpipe even in the wee hours of the morning.
from Pierre Senay: ... I still see him playing his pen as if it were a musical instrument while calmly bringing in myriads of planes in a well orchestrated dance.
