Rob Moore (ULZ)
Robert Edward Moore (ULZ)
1949 – 2022
It is with profound sadness that Captain Robert E. Moore’s family and loved ones announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, June, 14, at the age of 72.
Rob is survived by his son Christopher (Marjorie), daughter Carolyn (Josh), his grandchildren Charlotte and Benjamin, his partner Mirella Piccinin and her children – Julia, Nadia and Michael, and his brothers Ken, Kevin and Brian.
A passionate aviator who often said he never worked a day in his life, Rob enjoyed a 35-year career as an Air Canada pilot. Though he traveled the world, his country home in Prince Edward County was his most loved destination.
Rob was a sentimental and thoughtful man who loved with all of his heart. One never wondered where you stood with him. He was most generous with his family and friends, even when it came at personal sacrifice. He enjoyed a good time and the simple pleasures in life. He will be greatly missed.
from Bill Jesse: Rob Moore (MW) worked briefly in YUL tower in the early 1970s. He left to go to Air Canada where he retired about 10+ years ago as 767 captain.
