George Sigston (UL/OW

   George Raymond Sigston  1944-2022

   George passed at the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, ON after a brief stay, with his cousin Dave Sigston by his side.

   He was predeceased by his parents Ray and Alice (Sis) Sigston. George is survived by his first cousins Davin Sigston of Conestogo, ON and Marilyn McShane of Dartmouth, NS and many second and third cousins.

   Also remembering George is dear friend Beverly Snelgrove, Dartmouth, NS and long time friend and travelling companion Suesan Keller, Ottawa, ON.

George spent the last two years in an assisted living facility. While there, his wonderful friend, Shawn Malone, looked after George's home and any other matters he couldn't take care of himself. For all Shawn's help, the family is very grateful.

George spent many years working in Montreal as an Air Traffic Controller. After retiring he helped develop a new air traffic control system.

Cremation has taken place. In June a small ceremony and burial will take place in Cumberland at Dales Cemetery. Remembrances of George can be made to Diabetes Canada.
