i was in mcb5 1959 marines barracks area, i also heard the story about the seabees putting that sub in the swimming pool, must have been a couple of seabees coming back from the seamens club or tun travern. even with all of the sand that was put inside of the sub to keep it from being moved, a bunch of seabees could get that sub rocking back and forth, more than once i thought it was going over. [good times]

In 1960 as a seabee in MCB 10,Guam, The "sub" was on stands by the pool at Marine Barracks.
Story was that some "bees" actually put it pool with a couple of mobile cranes.
It was afterward filled with sand.
Never saw pics, could have been some TUN TUN Tavern talk.
