Banksy

Banksy is het pseudoniem van een Britse kunstenaar. Hoewel er weinig zekerheid is over de ware identiteit van Banksy en de meeste bronnen aangeven dat zijn echte naam 'Robert' of 'Robin Banks' is, heet hij waarschijnlijk Robin Gunningham. Hij zou in 1973 geboren zijn in Bristol. Zijn kunstwerken zijn vaak politiek en humoristisch van aard. In zijn straatkunst combineert hij graffiti met een hem kenmerkende sjabloontechniek.
