Started these from seed, September 2018, in the AeroGarden (hydroponic, grow light). I had beautiful blooms all winter and then when they dwindled I threw out 2 of the 3 plants and put the remaining one outside in a pot of soil/Light mix. Never had such sturdy petunias...gonna try this again.

Edit/Update: Just to clarify -- or correct -- the seeds are actually started in a little bit of a potting mix in the AeroGrow (AeroGarden, whatever) but then the roots spread down into the water and only water and nutrients get added.
