Spiny Knob-tailed gecko, Nephrurus sheaii

Doongan Station, Kimberley, WA

The spiny knob-tailed gecko is one of the oddest species of lizard occuring in Australia. They inhabit rocky outcrops with deep
crevices and emerge at night to hunt invertebrates and smaller geckos.
