Jackjumper and European Honeybee

Freycinet Ntional Park, Tasmania

Two of the most dangerous animals that live in Tasmania are two that many people overlook. This Jackjumper ant has found a
deceased feral honeybee and is trying to drag it back to the nest where (if it is successful) the ant will doubtlessly be greeted
enthusiatically with the ant equivalent of loud cheers.
