Yellow-footed Rock-wallby, Petrogale xanthopus

Idalia National Park, Qld Australia

These beautiful wallabies are incredibly agile. They were once common across rocky ranges in
inland Australia but predation by cats and foxes, loss of habitat, competion with feral goats,
combined with climate change has caused near-catastrophic decline. They now only occur in
protected areas where there is active control of predators.
