Les origines de l'abbaye de Sant'Antimo, située dans la commune de Montalcino, en Toscane, restent mystérieuses. L'église actuelle de l'abbaye a été construite à partir de 1118, bien que les origines de l'abbaye remontent au IXe siècle, voire au VIIIe siècle selon certains. Ces constructions témoignent d'une incroyable ingéniosité humaine pour l'époque. ~VVVV~

The origins of the Abbey of Sant'Antimo in the comune of Montalcino, Tuscany are obscure. The abbey's present church was built starting in 1118, though the abbey's origins date back to the 9th, some even say 8th century. Incredible human wisdom for these designs at that time. ~VVVV~
