Le roi Frédéric-Guillaume IV nourrissait une profonde fascination pour le Moyen Âge. Le Salon Bleu, l'une des pièces principales de ce décor, était conçu comme une résidence où la reine pouvait se retirer, et non comme une simple suite parentale. ~VVVV~

King Frederick William IV had a strong romantic attachment to the Middle Ages. The Blue Salon was one of the principal rooms in this design, intended as a residence where the Queen could use as a retreat, not only a bedroom suite. ~VVVV~
