Quelques heures plus tard, ce sera le 6 juin en Europe. J'écris ce commentaire le cœur lourd, une demi-journée avant le 81e anniversaire du Débarquement de Normandie. La Seconde Guerre mondiale ne s'est pas déroulée sur le continent américain, mais des soldats américains ont combattu dans les régions atlantique et pacifique pendant cette guerre. L'Amérique a perdu environ 141 000 soldats au sol et 42 500 ont été tués dans le ciel et en mer, rien que dans la région atlantique. Que Dieu bénisse leurs âmes.

A few hours later it will be June 6 in Europe. I'm writing this comment with a heavy heart, half a day before the 81st anniversary of D-Day, the Normanday Landings. The WWII was not fought on the US continent, but there were American soldiers fighting in both Atlantic and Pacific regions during this war. America lost approximately 141,000 ground troops and 42,500 were killed in the sky and at sea, in the Atlantic region alone. May God bless their souls.
