14-26 November 2024 we visited the wonderful country Colombia for the 4th time. Again perfectly organized by Alejandro Pinto from https://www.tanagerphototours.com
We traveled from the Eastern Andes Paramo and Cloud Forests to the Flooded Grasslands of the Llanos.
We observed 12 Mammal species, including Spectacled Bear, 3 Giant Anteaters, Ornate Titi Monkey and Brumback's Night Monkey.
We observed 334 Bird species including 72 lifers: Black-and-Chestnut Eagle, Band-bellied Owl, endemic Cundinamarca and Muisca Antpitta's, White-chested Puffbird,
Crestless Curassow, Lekking Wire-tailed Manakins, Lettered-, Chestnut-eared and Many-banded Aracari's.
Reptiles were also spectacular; including a huge Anaconda and the critically endangered Orinoco Crocodile observed close-by.
We had an amazing trip and cannot wait to return to this wonderful country!
