So the plan to upload regularly to the Summer 2010 gallery has failed miserably... In the meantime, Autumn has passed and Winter came along. Many pictures were taken between now and then, but for now, I will (might) post some pictures here regardless of the season. At some point, I might bring some order in my galleries again. Or I might not, as history shows ;-)

Here's a set of images taken on a hike from the mountain village Salvan to the Lac de ('lake of') Salanfe in the Swiss Alps. It was a foggy day, so a perfect opportunity to neglect the big scenery and focus on the beautiful alpine Spring flowers. These pictures were taken between 1000 and 2000 meters above sea level, and as a general rule: the higher one gets, the smaller the vegetation becomes. So don't be fooled: I used my newly obtained macro lense for this, many of these flowers are tiny!
