In the morning, on my way to a meeting in Delhi, we drove past India Gate and I saw the assembly of soldiers from a distance. I decided to take a closer look, and it was like walking into a brood of peacocks - soldiers from key regiments of India in full ceremonial regalia at a flag raising ceremony at India Gate. I spent the next hour with these guys and they were only proud to be photographed - it was an incredible sight ...!
