Francisco Pizarro's grave. It is amazing how he could succeed conquering the whole Inca empire with just a few men. There were several factors which worked for his favor:
- the Incas were conquerer themselves, so the suppressed tribes became allies to Pizarro.
- there was an ongoing civil war in the empire.
- and last, but not least, the europeans brought several diseases with them which were deadly for the unprotected nativ people.
