Solar Eclipse at Cottage Grove

By chance we were able to witness an annular solar eclipse from Cottage Grove, a small town south of Eugene/Oregon.
An annular eclipse occurs when the disk of the moon is slightly smaller than the solar disk, so a slim ring of the sun is visible during totality.
