bird show 09 backyard antics

Wonderful wildlife scenes are unfolding right in our back yard this winter. A new feeder pole closer to the house, several new feeders, and a 24x zoom camera have resulted in many colorful images.

Please note-these pix are taken through our kitchen window, and believe me it is not an open window!

Great shots Gigs - I use the FZ18 and also enjoy the 18X and also the capability to go to 27X if I coose a smaller image size. ( have not done that yet) I also have a 1.9X tel to keep out of digital zoom. With all that is offered in the FZ18- FZ28 I just can't see why I would ever buy a DSLR.
I am not a pro or even a very serious amiture - I jst like to take good clear shots of what I see of intrest.
