These are the aft set of public elevators numbering 12 with 12 more in the front of the ship. 6 on
the port side and 6 on the starboard side. All glass lined, faster than most hotels and can
accommodate 15 people. This was taken from the aft, deck 16 and looking down and foreward to deck
4. The walkway is deck 5.

“This is probably the most testing context for elevators, with heavy traffic in all directions 24
hours a day,” says Robert Segercrantz, director for KONE Marine. KONE delivered a total of 41
elevators to the ship.

During our weeks stay we saw only one that was down for maintenance.
