The snow and ice relinquishes the green grass... I always like that 'melting point' moment. The ice makes such interesting shapes as it retreats.

Looks like yo uare experiencing a little cold weather in Texas! And here I thought we had the exclusive rights to that in Canada! Only too pleased to share! :o)
Lovely image ... I like the variety in transparency of the snow / ice ... nice light too! Apparently the Inuit have many words to describe 'snow' .. I wonder what they would call this?
