Damn! I bought one of these alternative 'air-braking' systems off the internet too, and mine didn't work either...'saves you thousands on replacement brake-pads' it said! and $149.99!!!
All it was, was a tarpaulin and 4 pieces of string, and you're supposed to open your window each time you want to slow down...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
