As an anniversary present, I bought my wife (an avid Mets fan) a pair of tickets to the June 18th game at Shea Stadium in New York City. The Friday night game was special in that they were honoring Mike Piazza for his setting a new MLB record for the most home runs by a catcher. The evening was made all the better by a Mets win over the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers led by two until a base hit by Glavin (the pitcher) brought in two runs to tie the game up. The game remained a tie score until the bottom of the ninth when Cameron hit a "walk off" home run. Go Mets!
