From Puerto Varas, we traveled through the Andes by bus, then by boat, by bus, then again by boat, and so on...to cross the border into Argentina.
Then on to Bariloche.
This is a long day of travel, filled with fantastic scenery and incredible vistas.

Well done. I was very glad to see that you took these very colorful pictures with the Canon 300D. I have one of these cameras, also, and I like it a lot. If you ask me it takes better pictures than the new XTi 400D, which seems to have problems with under exposure. That Tamron lens does a good job too. I use the Canon 17-40 L. I voted.

From Puerto Frias to PuertoBlest by Lake Frias.To Puerto Panuelos By Lake Nahuel Huapi and finally bus reaching bariloche on May 27,2006.
