Now i can say with confidence,
the Cardinal is one touph bird to shoot,
as it hardly ever remains still for very long!
Great job; you must have one heck
of a rig!

Great bird shots, you hit it on the nail! You have some of the better shots of birds that I have seen. I tried to take some red cardinal shots, but the shots were from pretty far away, so its not worth posting (but I do have other parrot shots). What is your secret? What lens do you use (70-300?) & do you use a tripod. Also, did you do any post processing with these images & how many images must you take to get a decent set?
