Galina, I really enjoy ALL of your work and marvel of how you capture the soul of your subjects. I too am a Canon user and shoot with the 17-40 and 70-200 2.8. Are you using a tripod. Your images are so tack sharp ! Walt

Thank you!

I don't know how you have created such a spectacular image. Most photographers, myself included, could not have done such an exceptional portrait even under studio lighting. Was the light created by the headlamp of a car?

Very interesting portrait Galina.
There's always two sides in all of us and here you seem to have captured both of them in just one photo...
Great work with the light also.

A really fine portrait Galina. Wonderful in B&W, additional interest through his surroundings and reflection (without being intrusive)...the fantastic light and his attention captivate the viewer.
Bravo..
best wishes Rob

I agree with others, great lighting, expression and composition. The result is quite expressive, Phil made an excellent analyse. Beautiful work on black and white too!

A modern interpretation of the Narcissus Myth... :)))
... But this Narcissus will avoid his fate by looking at the photographer instead of his own reflection!
Very dramatic lighting.

I see you have been thinking about reflections, Galina, and how they express ideas. In this case, you present us with two entirely different people. The man on top seems secure, thoughtful, and firm. He basks in the glow of his own self-confidence, expressed by light, by expression, and by body language. The upside-down version of him on bottom, however, shows us a much darker person -- he is almost lost in the trees, he has no hands so his body language is nullified, and he seems to be quite gloomy. You show us here, in effect, the two sides of all of us - the person we show to the world, and the person that we hide within us. It is quite amazing how different the two realities are, and these opposite poles create great tension and provoke much thought. A very expressive image.
