This is what it looks like to have an out-of-control Indy Car coming straight at you.

To say that the pictures tend to slow things down is an understatement. This event happened so fast I didn't have time to do anything except keep my finger pressed on the shutter button.

In the third image you can see the on-board camera above the intake. I finally got to see the footage taken by that camera on a friends TIVO which he recorded from a TV show. In it you basically see me jumping the hell out of the way as this car smacks the pit wall in front of me. In that footage you get an idea of how fast the car came at me. There was little time to think about it.
