NGC 4731 (Full Frame)

NGC 4731 is a somewhat warped barred spiral galaxy about 65 million light-years away and is a member of the Virgo Cluster. There is a galaxy out of frame (NGC 4697) that has gravitationally distorted 4731. The small galaxy to the lower left is an irregular galaxy designated NGC 4731A
