Another photo of black against white. I bought this on holiday. It's for arranging flowers Japanese style. It's supposed to sit in water, the flower stems go in the holes and the squares of charcoal around the edge are supposed to help the flowers stay fresh longer. Could be one of those duff holiday purchases that seemed like a good idea at the time! I'll report on tests later :-)
