Japan: A day at the races

and we went to Suzuka for the F1 race. We had great seats and so got a fantastic view of Rubens Barichello's dramatic venture into the 'kitty litter' on the first corner. It was also the hottest and sunniest day of our trip - I was glad about that having spent a very wet F1 at Silverstone once - where we got soaked even though we were in a covered stand - I didn't relish a wet race at the uncovered Suzuka race. Especially since Typhoon's 19 and 20 delivered bucket loads of heavy rain during our time in Japan.
