Where's the bus?

Where's the bus?

I've already seen a few press reports about the "panic" in London. I didn't see anyone in a state of panic (doesn't mean there weren't any but....). As you can see, the bus stops were as busy as usual and the talk was mainly complaints about the lack of buses. Yes it's scary, yes it would be nice to be far away, but ..... a) I have to go to work and b) I love my City and don't want to feel scared of it so... we carry on. We've heard a lot about the resilience of Londoners over the last few weeks but I want to also tell you about the resilience of the many tourists who were wandering around London and jumping of buses too. Some of them far away from home in a city they don't know well, at a difficult time ...but they've been so supportive.

It's very fortunate the today's attempt failed. The police have done an excellent job. Ray is right, hopefully the evidence left behind in this failed attempt will be of use to the investigation. I'm glad no one was hurt.

It's nice to hear there was no panic and your life continues "almost" normally.
Nice image to see Londoners in the sunshine.
Take care.

You shall prevail. I've not a doubting bone in my body.

Looks pretty normal to me, hope the reports of no serious injuries is true.

It's sickening to hear this again Gail & failure is about as worrying too. Easy to say chin up when we are not there but I'll say it anyway.

Its great to hear Gail. I hope the 'failure' of today's attack helps the Police in vaulable new information to keep us all safe.
