It must have been yesterdays photo of the **umbrella shop**
that tempted fate and caused the weather today. I wonder if any of these umbrella's came from that shop! It was lovely and sunny this morning and I didn't really believe the forecast and almost went to work in my flip-flops (known as thongs in the US - but that means something altogether different to us Brits!!). It's not too bad wearing flip flops in the rain, your feet dry quickly but it's a bit squelchy.

I could explain that the presence of all those umbrellas actually makes it rain, because they disturb the airflow... but I suspect you wont believe me :) Nice image, glad to see some coloured umbrellas though

actually, everyone i know, here in the US, calls them flip-flops (or slippers) too. no doubt because the word thong is used for another piece of... *ahem* skimpy clothing.

It's the mud up the back of your legs while wearing thongs ( in Aus ) that is the worst Gail :>) A keep to the left going up doesn't seem to apply on footpaths does it.
