Roxanne

This time of year is everyone's birthday so today we went into Town to get some presents. I didn't take a camera because I thought I'd have too much to carry and last time I was carrying lots of stuff I had my wallet stolen so I wanted to make sure I could keep a proper eye on my bag. So, after a few hours pounding the streets of London including stops at Lillywhites (italian football shirt and cap for my nephew Kyle); Itchy Feet (outdoor shop); Selfridges; the Japan centre; the Conran store a late lunch etc etc... there wasn't much time for a photo ....but we did get all the presents. We've just made coffee so here's the light on the coffee machine. And the title..... it's the Police song "Roxanne.... you don't have to put on the red light" Don't know why it made me think of that!!

When I saw the title I thought of the Police song straight away. Didn't get the red light though until I got to the end of your comment!

wow - sounds like a shopping trip and a half (speaking on behalf of my wife really) - happy memories a similar trip on her birthday with afternoon tea at Liberty's - spot on. As for the picture, given yesterday's post, perhaps this is a reference to our all too often 'Invisible Sun'....
