Stained Glass

Today I went on a workshop to make stained glass leaded windows. Here's the panel I made today. I had such a lot of fun making it so I expect I'll be spending more time doing this in the future. With all that glass cutting I was worried I'd leave with less hands than I went in with, but I'm all present and correct.

If you are interested in a workshop to make your own panel, and you can get to London, take a look *here*

Pretty cool how you get to make your own. Looks great too. The sky background is nice too :D

This is completely fab...I did a nightschool class in stained glass windows but never finished my fanlight which is wrapped in newspaper in my garage. Good for you.

Wow Gail, excellent job here. Great job cutting the rounder sections and everything fits perfectly... well plan. This is a very attractive image with the sky as a background. I'll bet this panel looks great in one of your windows.

it's a beautiful stained glass! i really like how you framed it against the blue sky. :) the color contrast between the two is wonderful, and the light makes the stained glass less opaque.
