17 March
more graffiti
London, England

A lovely sunny day in London today and quite warm too (so why was I wearing a thick jumper - don't ask). I spotted another of of those men - I'm not sure if its an earlier or later model of the one I posted before.

Also, Trafalgar Square was looking very different today. It was full of tents that seemed to be part of a CND peace camp (but with nicer tents that usual!). Terry noted that the water was green for St Patrick's day on Sunday - that's when the St Patrick's day parade took place. But, odd that it was still green yesterday and drained today, since today IS St Patrick's day!!!!

hey Gail, I saw this one Flickr and immediately recalled that you had posted a shot of similar graffiti:

the difference is that yours is in London, and the one on flickr is in Japan. apparently it's done by Andre, a graffiti artist from Paris. i guess he travels around and leaves his mark. :)

Looks very pop-art sitting there on the building, it's like an installation at a modern art museum.

That cartoon character just draws me in!

Wow - definitely the same species - wonder if this one is wearing the same kicking shoes as the previous one.

This is a very good composition. I like it! The colors, the lines, the different textures and the funny little man. Very nice!

And thanks for taking us to Trafalgar Sq. again today.

Hmm, the eyes are the other way round to the last image - wonder if that's significant? Well captured!
