As I've been sorting out recently I've come across things I just can't throw away (well quite a lot really but that's another story). These are a good example. They are a pair of completely ugly clip on earrings but to me they are beautiful (though never worn!) because they were bought for me by my grandfather (now dead) when I was about 6. I saw them sparkling in a shop window and then they were mine. Tantrums may have been involved but I don't remember that bit.


Tomorrow I'll take my camera to work and break out of my minimalist phase.
