3 January 2009

while my brother visited my Dad, we took his children to HMS Belfast for a few hours. We had loads of fun and were rewarded with these colourful reflections of the sunset. It was very cold though so it was hot chocolates all round as we headed back to the car.

Nice light and reflections. I enjoyed my tour of the HMS Belfast many years ago.

A reward indeed. What a great sight - I hope that the children enjoyed it too.

Sounds like a great day all round, especially if hot choc was involved!

London buildings are so photogenic. Love the pink reflections.

I like the cubey building too - sort of like shiny leggo!

Great sunset reflections - they'd give London the title of La Ville en Rose!

I've always admired that cubey building on the right. I've now discovered it to be 10 Lower Thames Street and is mainly used by Express Newspapers, but it was originally used by Midland Bank/HSBC.
Hot Chocolate....mmmmmm

I thought that HMS Belfast was a bit bigger,
and greyer, and sort of Naval looking :)
