Cindy C

Vermont

Sap bucket- a spring ritual in Vermont-collecting sap from maple trees to make maple syrup. Mmmm yum. (It takes about 32 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup!)

Nice composition, Cindy. I used to live in NH. Now all I have on my trees are oranges and lemons! :)

Nice picture Cindy. It brings back memories of when I was a kid and tapped trees when I got home from school. I used to have a bucket of sap boiling down on the kitchen wood stove all day long. I live in Upper Michigan and we still have at least 2 feet of snow on the ground.
