Barry Cottam, one of our FWG volunteers, held a photography workshop, sponsored by the OFNC, at the garden in early autumn. Participants – Barry, Barrie & Eve, Gerald, Katherine & Villiam, Jacquie and Pauline – spent a couple of hours exploring the FWG through their lenses then met at the Interpretation Centre to share their results. Photos were viewed on a large screen and often lightly edited, with everyone providing ideas and comments, including the several people who accepted the invitation to drop by for this part of the event. Participants then selected their top three photos from the day, and we have posted them here. It is fascinating to see the garden through the eyes of photographers who spent half a day exploring for different views of the FWG. The photos are terrific – click on each one to see who shot what!
