Looking south down the slope to the stream running through the ravine. There was quite a bit of activity at this point, with juncos and song sparrows rustling through the leaves, a mourning dove feeding under the sumacs, chipmunks and red squirrels darting in to pick up peanuts someone had placed for them, as well as chickadees and other birds/
