The small stream that trickles out of the pond and feeds, eventually, into the stream in the Arboretum, is still open. The water is not very deep, and it is attracting both robins and starlings, but mostly robins. They'll be looking for water to drink, of course, but also any small invertebrates that might be hiding there. (CH)
