Scilla

Every year the clumps of Scilla in the garden slowly expand. A few here and a few there... We didn't plant these garden flowers, but they must have come in with the leaf mulch we use from people's gardens.

I love these flowers, too. They are such a vibrant shade of blue for such small flowers. V

Are Scilla flowers used by pollinators such as early bees and wasps?

Gorgeous shot, much nicer than mine!! My scilla are prospering in a location where I never planted them. They somehow made their way to an exposure they like, a surprisingly windy corner. So lovely in color and form, the closest I can get to bluebells. They must be a shock of blue in the garden. V

What a joyful sight this photo is!! There is a huge population of these in the second-growth area near the entrance to Mud Lake. But they normally don't show up until the last week of April!!
