Our waitress Denise kindly consented to a picture with us. At this young, hip joint, we must have looked like dinosaurs -- we're probably the oldest customers she's seen in years!
In addition to mango slush, we had all sorts of interesting flavors of bubble tea (black tea with giant tapioca pearls) here -- some were more more successful than others. They included pear/peach, strawberry/banana, chocolate, and apple. A couple of the more adventurous among us ordered the exotic-sounding "barley embryo" as a topping for their drinks. It didn't sound like it was meant for the squeamish. We were disappointed to discover that it was merely what we Americans refer to as "wheat germ", a mundane name that doesn't sell drinks the way "barley embryo" does.
