After this morning's session, the rest of the day was a bust as far as eagles are concerned. We decided to go back about an hour before sundown to try and get some warm evening light. No such luck, the sky went overcast about 10 minutes before we had decided to leave, and the eagles weren't moving at all. It's supposed to be bright and sunny all day tomorrow, so I should get a lot of shots tomorrow as long as the eagles are active.
This shot here, was by far my favorite of the day. This guy was turning all over the place, probably looking for lunch down below, but he put on quite a show for the 4-5 of us lined up at the observation deck. I'm not sure if it's how the light is hitting his feathers or the lines that lead from his wings up thru his neck, but I just love this shot. Once I get back home, I'll post the rest from the trip. But for now, this is one I had to share.
After we ate lunch today, we took Ian over to the north side of their property to go sledding. Their side yard has quite a slope to it, so we carved out a tube run and had some fun! Ed took some shots and posted them. Go take a look.

Depending on what time we wrap up shooting tomorrow, I might not have time to post until Monday afternoon. But if I get some great shots before lunch, I'll post a pad before we leave to go back home.
