The "Men at Work" series continues this week.

This is Dave. He is our senior warehouse man.
He pretty much runs the show on our end of the building.

Ever since I started the "Men at Work" series,
I've struggled with what to do with Dave.

I had a few ideas lined up for today,
but every time we'd start setting up,
we'd get another truck to load.

So I was sitting the shipping office with my camera,
waiting for the next-to-last truck to leave,
when Dave pops his head in and suggests shooting him
on the forklift from the side, while the next truck is pulling in.
(That's the blur you see on the left side behind the forklift.)

So with only 30 seconds or so to get ready,
I set up the tripod and camera on F8
so I could have a nice long shutter speed.

One shot...that's all I got at this one.
Dave left for the day shortly after this truck was loaded.

So Dave gets all the credit for the pose on this one. =)
