Day Four of OUR winter vacation

I keep forgetting that I'm not the only one on vacation. I feel a little bad for Ian this past week. We're away from home and most of his toys. He brought some stuff to play with or videos to watch, but that gets old quick. Mommy and grandma took him along when they went shopping yesterday, but that has to get old quick too. Grandpa and I are out taking photographs in conditions that aren't exactly kid friendly. And a lot of attention is given to Eli because he's the baby, and well, he's not really independent right now.

So I made sure to spend some time with him yesterday and today out with the sleds. They don't have a lot of snow here, but there's enough on the hill to get up a good head of steam behind you. He wore the old man out today out on the slopes, so we're going to go play some games inside this afternoon. ;)

If it looks like he isn't too happy, it's because on the pass or two before this, he took a header off the sled and got a bloody nose. He's fine, no major surgery required.

What a soft, lightweight and cushy sled he's got there! Pulling that back up the hill looks easy compared to the old wooden toboggans we had :-) Looks like he's having a ball despite the bloody nose. Way to go Ian!

Way to go Ian! Wear the scarf Grandma made for you, you can never go wrong doing stuff like that!
