I'm not quite sure how this week is going to go, so I thought I'd get my Pbase greeting card shot out of the way today.


I've been wanting to do a nakie-butt shot with Eli for some time now. Granted, this one has very little showing, but wait until the other ones hit his gallery. ;)


Very simple set up. White muslin clipped to our bookcase and draped out over the floor, (gotta remember to put down pee-pad next time). Single 36" white shoot thru umbrella to camera right with a sunpak set to 1/4 power, fired by optical slave. There is another sunpak on camera fired straight up to trigger the slave and to add some fill in the shadows. Custom WB to the umbrella strobe. Add naked baby with props, and you're good to go. ;)


Here's to all my pbase friends, who actually have become extended family for me. Even with all it's flaws, Pbase is still a great place to keep up with each others lives, and share our passion for pressing the shutter. Merry Christmas to all!!
