This is the blanket that I was brought home in when I was born. My grandmother made it 38+ years ago. My mom passed it down to me when Ian was born. He was brought home in it and had a studio photo done with it as well.

We were saving it for Ian's first born child, but since we had another little guy to bring home, we unpacked it and kept the tradition alive. It was a little warm that day to wrap him in it, so we draped it over his car seat.

As soon as Eli is a little bigger, I'll do a studio style shot of him on it before we vacuum seal it away again.
